Mechanical Strength - PEEK is a plastic that combines toughness and rigidity, and its excellent fatigue resistance to alternating stress is the most outstanding of all plastics, comparable to aluminum alloys. High temperature properties - PEEK resin has a high glass transition temperature (143C) And the melting point (334C), which is one of the reasons why it can be reliably used in applications where heat resistance is required. Its load heat distortion temperature is up to 316C (30% GF or CF enhanced grade), and the continuous use temperature is 250C. Sliding characteristics PEEK has outstanding sliding characteristics. Suitable for use with strict requirements for low friction coefficient and wear resistance. In particular, 10% of the carbon fiber, graphite, and polytetrafluoroethylene mixed-modified sliding grades or 30% CF-reinforced grades are grades with excellent sliding characteristics. Chemical resistance PEEK has excellent chemical resistance next to fluororesin, and only concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid can be dissolved or destroyed in ordinary chemicals. Hydrolysis resistance PEEK and its composites are not affected by water and high pressure water vapor. Products made from this material can be used continuously in high temperature and high pressure water to maintain excellent properties. Due to the above special physical properties, it has been widely used in aerospace, electronic information, petrochemical, automotive, medical and precision machinery, in addition to the national defense industry.
